NEW YORK (WKBW) — Mercy Flight has confirmed to 7 News that a plane crashed in Clarence on Saturday.
According to the Amherst Central Fire Alarm Office, the plane crashed into a field south of the Clarence Aerodrome around 12:50 p.m.
According to officials, the pilot was trapped inside the cockpit and had to be rescued by emergency personnel.
The pilot was airlifted to ECMC with serious injuries.
