NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara Falls police are investigating a deadly shooting Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. near 19th Street and Welch Avenue.
Police say an 18-year-old Niagara Falls man was killed after being shot several times while sitting in the passenger side of a parked vehicle.
Investigators say the suspect ran away on foot.
Police say the victim was taken to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center where he died of his injuries. The name of the victim has not been released at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation.
