PORTLAND, N.Y. (WKBW) — An Erie, PA woman is facing felony charges after police say she was driving drunk on the wrong side of the Thruway with her 10-year-old child in the car.
New York State Police say Michelle L. Guianen, 33, was driving west in the eastbound lanes of the I-90 on the evening of May 21st. Troopers tracked her down after receiving reports of a car driving against traffic on the Thruway.
Police say Guianen had a blood content of .17% and had her young child in the car as a passenger.
Guianen was taken into custody and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle; a Class E Felony, reckless driving and endangering the welfare of a child.
Guianen and the child were turned over to a sober third party.
