AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst police are investigating a shooting Sunday morning.
According to police, officers were called to a motel on Flint Road just before 6:45 a.m. for a report of a person shot.
A victim was located and taken to Erie County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say there will be increased patrols in the area, but there is "no perceived danger to the public at this time."
