CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three teenagers were charged with inciting to riot, a misdemeanor, following a fight Saturday night at the Walden Galleria.
Cheektowaga police say mall security called for assistance around 6:30 p.m. when about 30 underage people were in the food court. About a half hour later, police received a call of about 100 kids running through the shopping center. Three female teens were arrested. In addition to the riot charge, one of the teens was also charged with resisting arrest.
Police received reports of two other fights, at 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. In both instances, the crowds dispersed before officers arrived.
Police from West Seneca, Depew, Lancaster and the NFTA assisted police from Cheektowaga.
