HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — Hamburg police have issued a warning to the public in regards to the structures encapsulated in ice in the area.
Police say the majority of the buildings in the area are private residences and the majority of the ice which is unsafe and unstable is in private areas.
They there are several no parking signs in the area as well which will be enforced.
"We are asking the public to please stay off the ice and refrain from entering privately owned yards or blocking driveways. If you are parked illegally you may be ticketed and entering a privately owned yard or residence without permission could result in an arrest for trespass in accordance with the NY State Penal Law," police said.
