BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — Local Republicans are calling for a major change in leadership here in New York State, and they want it to start at the top.
The 1791 Society held an anti-Cuomo demonstration today in Hamburg.
There was a good crowd on hand to hear from speakers like Republican Congressman Chris Jacobs.
He praised what he called President Trump's ability to turn the economy around prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jacobs said, "Unfortunately New York State has not been able to benefit from that because of all the policies of Andrew Cuomo. We need fresh leadership, republican leadership, so we can seize the opportunities that Donald Trump has laid out for us."
Other speakers included a representative of the New York State Police, and citizens representing the nursing home, and hospitality industry.
Saturday's rally was held at Hamburg Town Hall.
