BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A group of protesters gathered in Niagara Square and marched throughout Buffalo, including to the home of Mayor Byron Brown on Wednesday. This comes on the heels of 13 protesters being arrested Wednesday morning.
The group called for defunding the police, standing up against police brutality and racial injustices.
NOW: Protesters are back in Niagara Square tonight after marching through various neighborhoods earlier this evening. Several told me they plan on staying the night here.

One protester told me: “It’s not over, until it’s over.”
Just saw someone drop off water, too. @WKBW pic.twitter.com/59SQazhbKI
Our 7 Eyewitness News photographer saw Mayor Brown being escorted out of his house by the Buffalo Police Department.
