BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Today, coffee lovers will want to raise their double-doubles in memory of a very special man.
Ron Joyce, the co-founder of Tim Hortons has died. Joyce was 88-years-old.
The Tim Hortons chain was launched in 1964, with the first restaurant located in Hamilton, Ontario.
In 1967, Joyce and Tim Horton became full partners in the company. Horton, a former Buffalo Sabres, was killed in a car crash in February of 1974.
