JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Jamestown Police are sending out a warning to anyone who may have received a call from what appears to be someone from the police department.
Officials say scammers are calling people claiming to be associated with the southern tier law enforcement agency.
They are calling people and trying to get your personal information, including your credit card number.
Police say this in NOT something they would do and treat it as a scam.
