Senator Ted Cruz of Texas says he will self-quarantine after interacting with a person who has tested positive for Covid-19. That interaction happened at the CPAC or Conservative Political Action Conference, 10 days ago.
In a tweet on Sunday night, Cruz wrote that he will self-quarantine in at his home in Texas this week. He says he is not showing any symptoms of the virus and he taking action out of an "abundance of caution."
