NORTH COLLINS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A deadly crash closed a portion of Route 62 (Gowanda State Road) between Milestrip and Wilcox Roads in Nort Collins.
According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, a semi and a pick-up truck collided head-up Friday morning. The victim’s identity is being withheld until family members can be contacted.
The driver of the pick-up died as a result of the crash. First responders took the tractor-trailer driver to the Erie County Medical Center for evaluation.
Route 62 reopened to traffic late Friday morning.
