DELEVAN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Western New York woman's alleged attempt to get her roommate in trouble with the law, ended up with her getting arrested.

Troopers investigated a complaint that Samantha Haettich, 27, of Delevan had broken a taillight on her roommate's vehicle.

While interviewing Haettich, troopers said she admitted to the act. They said she told them she wanted to get the roommate stopped by police.

Now, she's facing a criminal mischief charge.

Haettich is due back in Yorkshire town court sometime before the end of January.
