BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Shea's Performing Arts Center has officially canceled the final show of its 2019-2020 M&T Bank Broadway series due to the coronavirus outbreak.
'Escape to Margaritaville,' a musical comedy featuring the songs of Jimmy Buffet, was set to take the stage in Buffalo June 2 to 7. Shea's says it is working with the show to reschedule and will announce the new dates soon. Ticket procedures will be announced once new dates are in place.
Box office staff are working from home and still taking calls weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Arts and entertainment venues are in phase four - the final phase - of Governor Cuomo's plan to reopen New York.
