BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — For many students, the first day of the 2019-2020 school year begins tomorrow which means today is the final day to get last minute school supplies.
"We just put off getting the supplies until the last minute so we're just coming out and finalizing our shopping list for the kids," father of three Edward Jackson said.
Many families were in Target on Delaware for last minute supplies like binders, notebooks, and dividers. Others were there shopping for their entire school list. Nonetheless, stores were still offering plenty of savings.
"There's pretty good deals on the supplies [my kids] need so I'm looking forward to taking advantage of those," Jackson said.
Once students have all their supplies, its time to switch gears and get back into the daily routine. For some that means going to bed early, getting their schedules aligned for the first day or mentally preparing for the first day.
