AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Silver Alert has been canceled after a woman with dementia who was reported missing early Thursday morning was found.
The alert for Dorcas Alford, 82, was issued just before 1 a.m. Thursday. Police reported she had been found just after 5:30 a.m. She had last been seen on foot in the area of Klein Road and Hopkins Road around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Police did not specify where she was found.
