Six people, including four children, being helped by Red Cross after overnight fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Fire Department says a fire forced six people from their home early Thursday morning.

According to fire investigators, the fire started just after midnight at a house on Normal Avenue.

It did approximately $150,000 in damage to the multi-unit house.

The American Red Cross is assisting two adults and four children who lived there.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
