TOWN OF CONCORD, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Town of Collins woman has been arraigned in connection to a deadly crash that happened in September 2018.
Allyson Rollek, 25, was arraigned in Town of Concord Court Monday evening and is being charged with vehicular manslaughter in the second degree.
Investigators say Rollek killed 66-year-old Ralph Spaulding, of Java Center, and injured his 11-year-old passenger during a two-vehicle crash back on Creek Road in the Town of Concord in September. Prosecutors say at the scene of the crash, deputies "felt her manner of speech and demeanor was consistent with narcotic use." Rollek's blood was tested and the the presence of fentanyl was detected.
Rollek was released on her own recognizance and ordered to surrender her driver’s license. Rollek will begin inpatient treatment on Tuesday.
If convicted, she faces up to seven years in prison.
