SWAT situation in North Buffalo ends peacefully

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A SWAT situation in North Buffalo has ended peacefully.

Buffalo police say they were called to the 300 block of Sanders Road, near Colvin Avenue, for a welfare check involving two young children around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Our 7 Eyewitness News crew at the scene saw one person being taken into custody.

Buffalo SWAT and the Crisis Management Team responded to the call.
