RANDOLPH, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three teens are facing charges after they allegedly stole a school bus from a Randolph Schools bus garage.

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to investigate break-ins at the Randolph Central School, as well as the bus garage early Monday morning.

Investigators say a 17-year-old male, a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old female ran away from the Randolph Children's Home and broke into the facilities.

The teens were taken into custody and each charged with two counts of burglary, grand larceny and criminal mischief.

The 17-year-old was arraigned and is being held in the Cattaraugus County jail on $5,000 bail. The other teens were taken to the East Ferry Detention Facility, in Buffalo, and are expected to appear in court at a later date.

Deputies say the bus was recovered in the City of Jamestown.
