BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two adult ospreys will call Tifft Nature Preserve home for another year.
The giant birds have nested at the nature site every year since 2011, according to a Buffalo Museum of Science post on Youtube.
Officials say the ospreys are building a nest overlooking Lake Kirsty.
Over the next few weeks, the birds will continue to build their nest. The post says the osprey will mate and lay eggs.
Visitors are asked to keep their distance from the birds and to not to disturb them.
According to the Audubon, an osprey is a type of fish-hawk the lives along coastlines, lakes, and rivers.
You can watch the ospreys live here.
