BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — They're dogs that are there to comfort people in times of need.

Right now, the therapy dogs that work with the SPCA Serving Erie County are out of work, but they're still able to make house calls in a way!

7 Eyewitness News now has a new segment where you'll get to meet them every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.

Marilyn Wetter and her pup, Kody Bear, are making Wednesday's The SPCA Serving Erie County Paws For Love house call!

The SPCA is not accepting volunteers at this time, as it is unable to host volunteers on the grounds, hold new volunteer orientations or make in-person Paws for Love visits.

But you can meet the two-and-four-legged volunteers by checking out the SPCA Serving Erie County Paws For Love Facebook page.
