TOWN OF NEWFANE, N.Y. (WKBW) — An investigation is underway following a three-alarm fire Friday night in the Town of Newfane.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Office received reports of a fire at 6419 Ridge Road just after 9:20 p.m. Friday.
Mark Hain, Niagara County HazMat Deputy Fire Coordinator, happened to be driving by at the time of the fire. According to the sheriff's office, he helped the homeowners evacuate the residence.
The sheriff's office said several crews extinguished the fire. The structure is believed to be a total loss.
7 News was at the scene and working to learn more. This is an ongoing investigation.
