BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three men in Greece, two of whom are Eagle Scouts, are under arrest after police say they planned to attack an Islamic community outside of Binghamton. They're accused of having "multiple IEDs" in the shape of cylinders and mason jars. Police say the three planned to use the devices against people in Islamberg, a hamlet near Binghamton.

According to WHAM in Rochester, Vincent Vetromile, 19, Andrew Crysel, 18, and Brian Colaneri, 20, were arrested over the weekend. They're charged with first-degree criminal possession of a weapon and conspiracy. WHAM reporter Jane Flasch says according to an online newsletter, Vetromile and Crysel were members of the same scout troop, and both became Eagle Scouts.

A 16 year old boy has also been arrested in the case but his arrest is being handled by an adolescent court.

The three were arraigned and are being held at the Monroe County Jail. They're set to be back in court Wednesday.
