TOWN OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A Town of Tonawanda man was found guilty of the April 2019 murder of his girlfriend Thursday.
51-year-old Mario Turner, Sr. was found guilty by a jury of one count of murder in the second degree.
Turner fatally shot his girlfriend, 49-year-old Renee Taschetta, at their home on Dumas Place on April 30th, 2019.
He faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison when he is sentenced on November 14th, 2019.
