BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Twin City Ambulance donated nearly 50 tablets to doctors, nurses and staff at Buffalo General Medical Center to help connect patients with loved ones during this difficult time.
The 48 tablets will be used to help facilitate communication between patients and their loved ones who cannot visit the hospital due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kaleida Health says there are currently 100 confirmed COVID-19 cases at Buffalo General with 83 in the medical unit, and 17 in the ICU.
Buffalo General is also investigating 12 other cases of COVID-19 in-house and says 95 additional patients were tested but tested negative.
