AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst Police say a two-car crash occurred on Niagara Falls Boulevard between Tonawanda Creek Road and E Robinson Road in Amherst around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police a dark colored Nissan driven by a 46-year-old male from Youngstown, Ohio struck a Buick driven by a 70-year-old male from North Tonawanda.
The 46-year-old driver of the Nissan was taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries and the 70-year-old driver of the Buick was treated and released at the scene according to police.
Police say the crash is under investigation and charges are pending against the driver.
A witness tells our crew the car that rolled over was going "at least 80 MPH."

The northbound lanes of Niagara Falls Boulevard are closed right in front of the Wegmans/Kohls plaza in that area with no word on when they will reopen.
