Two men arrested in Buffalo shooting

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo police say two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened Monday night.

Authorities say 38-year-old Joel Coleman and 41-year-old Tony Higgins, both of Buffalo, have been charged in connection with the shooting of a 53-year-old man.

The shooting took place Monday night at the 300-block of Massachusetts Avenue.

The man was sent to ECMC and is listed in stable condition.

Coleman has been charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, while Higgins was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say they've recovered a weapon at the scene and believe the shooting to be targeted.
