Two officers, student hospitalized after incident at Burgard High School

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Police say two officers and a male student were hospitalized following an incident at Burgard High School.

According to police, a call was received for a male student making threats and refusing to leave the building around 5:45 Monday evening.

When police arrived an altercation took place between the male student and two officers.

Police say the three parties involved were taken to ECMC for injuries sustained during the altercation.

The two officers sustained head injuries, there was no word on the injuries the student sustained, the condition of the three parties was not available.

Their identities have not been released.

Police say there are charges pending against the student.
