BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Lamiyah Jabbar is much more than a a friendly, outgoing Uber driver with a well-maintained car. You could call her an angel on Earth.

Jabbar recently surprised a Tim Hortons worker with a new dress and a $50 Visa gift card after listening to her struggles while driving her to work at the Elmwood Avenue location in North Buffalo.

"This was on my mind from the moment she got out of my car so I had to contribute," Jabbar wrote on Instagram (@miyah_jabs) on August 3 below video of the drive-thru surprise. "Can you imagine waiting until Christmas just to get a robe, house shoes and an outfit for church. We tend to take things for granted, but why not hep someone else if you can."

The worker, Diane, was stunned by the random act of kindness.

"Thank you so much. This has been such a horrible day and you just made it so much better," she can be heard saying on the video.

Jabbar told ABC News Diana has to help take care of her grandchildren and house bills, leaving little money for herself.

"Drivers like Lamiyah are the heart of our service," Uber said in a statement, "and we're inspired by the things they do every day to help riders and strengthen their communities."
