BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The SPCA serving Erie County has a program called Paws for Love that brings therapy animals to places that need them.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the ability to send animals into public spots has been eliminated, but the Paws for Love program is still looking to bring the smiles remotely.
"They're waiting to go back out and help people," said Debbie Braun, The SPCA Serving Erie County Paws for Love coordinator.
The SPCA Serving Erie County Paws for Love is posting photos and videos of their "out of work" animals hoping to give people at home a smile during the tough times.
Each animal usually visits a hospital, airport, school or other public place.
