BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The United States Geological Survey reports a 2.6 magnitude earthquake with an epicenter in an area below Lake Ontario took place Sunday afternoon.
USGS says the earthquake occurred at a depth of 5 km around 1:04 p.m. and its epicenter below Lake Ontario was about 24.7 miles northeast of Lockport.
