HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — A bouquet of flowers sits covered in new fallen snow with a small message for the three lives lost in a devastating fire.

Hamburg police have identified the three people who tragically died in a fire, overnight Monday, in the Town of Hamburg.

Police say 28-year-old Krystle Dab, six-year-old Allison Harmon and four-year-old John Wendover died in the fire.

Crews responded to the call of fire about 2:30 a.m. Monday on Newton Road.

“She was a super pleasant little girl,” said Hamburg School Superintendent Michael Cornell of Allison, who was in kindergarten at Charlotte Avenue Elementary.”Her loss is tragic, and she will be missed terribly by her teaches and classmates.”

Cornell says support staff will be on hand for grief counseling.

Two people escaped from the house. They were brought to Erie County Medical Center. Their condition is still unclear.

Firefighters are yet to determine the cause of the fire. They say it's still under investigation.

Crews say the home is a total loss.

A Go Fund Me has been set up for funeral expenses.
