NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) — A disturbing video showing several girls bullying another girl in North Tonawanda is getting a lot of attention on social media.
The clip was shared in a North Tonawanda public Facebook group on Thursday afternoon, but has since been removed.
The video shows several girls repeatedly hitting and pushing another girl to the ground.
Police confirm the incident occurred on North Tonawanda School property on July 1 and there is an active investigation into the incident.
Officials say the offenders will be charged and referred to family court and the parents of the juveniles have been cooperative to this point.
No names will be released due to the ages of those involved, police say the detectives are working with school administration to take disciplinary action to the extent they are allowed.
