BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — On Wednesday morning, the Catholic Diocese of Buffalo started a major direction shift.
Bishop Richard Malone's resignationwas accepted by Pope Francis, following an I-Team investigation by Chief Investigator Charlie Specht. Bishop Edward Scharfenberger of Albany will temporarily lead the diocese as Apostolic Administrator.
