DARIEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — A West Seneca man faces charges after he allegedly recorded a juvenile female changing in his camper while attending the Kingdom Bound Festival at Darien Lake.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says 35-year-old Nathan Rogers allegedly used two of his cell phones to record the juvenile, he was arrested Wednesday and faces two counts of unlawful surveillance in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Rogers was a part-time student pastor at Life Church Buffalo in West Seneca, he has since been terminated from that position.
The church released this statement to 7 Eyewitness News Friday.
Life Church is shocked and deeply saddened over the improper incident that occurred at Darien Lake on Wednesday involving a member of our staff. Gratefully, local law enforcement was notified and responded quickly. With this news, the individual was immediately terminated from employment as part time Student Pastor. We are earnestly praying for the healing of everyone involved in this incident, particularly the victim and her family. We have offered and will continue to offer professional counseling and ministry support for all of our students as we endeavor to serve our community with love and compassion.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Darien Town Court August 13th.
