WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WKBW) — It was a bittersweet moment for Williamsville grandmother Pat Gray, who met her first grandchild through a glass door this weekend.
Gray visited her daughter, Shelbey, and new granddaughter, Maeve, for the first time. The trio safely kept to opposite sides of a glass door, to practice social distancing due to Coronavirus. Both mother and daughter were emotional over the meeting, but said they understood it was best to keep everyone safe and healthy.
Maeve was born Monday, March 16th. In a message to 7 Eyewitness News anchor Katie Morse, Pat said, "Katie that baby is so cute and I cannot wait to meet her in person!"
