CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WKBW) — We now know the identity of a woman shot and killed inside a 7-Eleven on French Road in Cheektowaga Sunday morning. Court paperwork has identified the victim as Hannah Morse.

It was around 11 a.m. on Sunday when officers responded to the report of a man with a gun inside the 7-Eleven located at 475 French Road, police say while the dispatcher was speaking with a woman inside the store the man fired a shot.
Investigators say Morse was then struck by gunfire, and rushed to ECMC, where she later died.
27-year-old Travis Zukic, of Cheektowaga was arrested is now charged with second degree murder. He was arraigned Sunday night in Cheektowaga Town Court. So far, police have not released a possible motive.
Police said when they arrived on scene, Zukic was leaving the store. Police fired a shot at Zukic, but he was not injured and was taken into custody.
French Road is back open. A portion had been closed for about 3 hours while police processed the scene. Investigators remain at the 7Eleven collecting evidence. @WKBW

The investigation is in its early stages and further information will be released as it becomes available according to a release.
In a statement, a 7-Eleven representative said "Our hearts are with the victim and their family. We are gathering information and working with local law enforcement. The store is currently closed while police complete their investigation."
