BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst native and former Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski is nearing a new deal with WWE, according to a report.
Ryan Satin, a correspondent for WWE Backstage on FS1, reported during Tuesday night's show that a deal was close. It has been noted that Gronkowski could appears on WWE television as soon as March 20.
Gronkowski is known to have ties to World Wrestling Entertainment. He invited Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to a beach party in February. He is also friends with WWE performer Mojo Rawley, who he made an in-ring appearnce with at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
