Passage of the GOP sponsored American Health Care Act in the U.S. House of Representatives is generating a lot of mixed opinions about its possible future impact on healthcare.
However, there are two issues that many people do agree with. The first is that healthcare is currently too expensive. The second is that the healthcare debate in Washington D.C. has become so complicated that lawmakers need to do a better job of explaining what is happening to the general public.
Even though the American Health Care Act passed the House, it is not law. The U.S. Senate still has the option to alter the legislation or even kill it.
