Nick D'Angelo a graduate from Roy-Hart and a tattoo artist in Lockport won a Valentine's Day themed episode on Ink Master which aired on February 9th.

"I went back on the Valentine's Day special because they brought back four of the most passionate artists who ever competed on the show," said D'Angelo. "I came out on top and I won."

While on the most recent episode D'Angelo had to tattoo three clients and his second one gave him a run for the money. You can watch a clip from his episode here, where you can see she almost didn't make it to the end.

D'Angelo's winning tattoo was a human heart, which can be seen here on his Facebook page.

"It was full color. It looked like I took a heart out of someone's chest and put it on someone's skin. It was really cool," said D'Angelo.

He came home the top dog bringing with him a $10,000 prize. D'Angelo was booted off the show when he made his first appearance on season two.

"I got to compete for five episodes," said D'Angelo. "Then I got this crazy, off-the-wall client that sent me home."

It wasn't long after that he made it back on Ink Master, this time tattooing the show's host Dave Navarro. Navarro was a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

"When you get a cool opportunity you've got to take it all the way," said D'Angelo.

Ink & Style is D'Angelo's tattoo parlor and salon which has been open on Chestnut Street in Lockport for four years. When he opened the parlor he said he'd be booked about two months in advance but now he's booked out for a year.
