More than one-million dollars worth of construction equipment is set to hit the auction block on Tuesday, December 12th.
LPCiminelli is auctioning away nearly 2,000 pieces of equipment including boots and trucks. The company is closing its general contracting company and no longer needs these things.
The closure comes after the company's former ceo and two top executives were indicted as part of an investigation into Governor Andrew Cuomo's Buffalo Billion Program.
In a statement to 7 Eyewitness News, a spokesperson for LPCiminelli said
"We will continue to focus all of our efforts on construction management and program management, along with development opportunities,"
More than one thousand people are expected to bid on these items in person and online.
