BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — If you were expecting some relief at the gas pump after the holidays, you'll likely not find it in Buffalo.

AAA of Western and Central New York says the average price for a gallon of gas increased five cents from last week in Buffalo.

The average price of gallon of gas in Buffalo is now $2.65, but that's expected to go down slightly starting in the new year.

Gas prices in Buffalo are still slightly lower than the rest of the state, as the average price of gas in New York state is $2.70.
