BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Goodwill of WNY's first bridal sale in 2018 was such a huge success that a second one is scheduled for Sunday April 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It takes place at Goodwill's retail location at 1119 William Street, Buffalo.
Besides wedding dresses, the sale includes bridesmaid and mother-of-the bride gowns.
All the dresses are priced between $25 and $75.
Goodwill has 400 wedding dresses to sell that range from vintage to styles that are currently in bridal shops.
Many of the dresses still have tags on them and most have only been worn once.
Volunteer seamstresses will be on-hand to help brides with fitting and alteration suggestions during the sale.
How popular is this event?
Linda Maraszek from Goodwill said there were lines around the store for the first bridal sale and she recommends that buyers come early to get the best selection.
Proceeds from the sale help Goodwill in its mission to provide job training for people who have barriers to employments (such as disabilities, lack of education or in financial need).
