A man trying to get back into the U.S. was arrested on the Peace Bridge when officers found a gun in his car during a border search.
According to U.S. Attorney James Kennedy, Jibreel Williams, 27, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura Higgins says Williams was stopped early Sunday morning after visiting a duty-free shop.
Williams faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
