Man charged with identity theft after using stolen debit card after Christmas

A Buffalo man was arrested Tuesday after using a debit card he was suspected of stealing.

State Police say Samuel Toliver was at the Eastern Hills Mall when he got into a verbal fight in the food court.

After an investigation, officers say he was revealed to be the suspect of a stolen debit card complaint the day before and was wearing some of the items purchased with the stolen card.

According to officials, the merchandise he was wearing, as well as the rest of the items he bought, were recovered.

Police say Toliver was arrested and released with an appearance ticket. He was charged with identity theft and disorderly conduct.
