Man tells police marijuana bags "were Christmas gifts"

City of Tonawanda Police arrested a Buffalo man following a traffic stop just before 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Police stopped Peter Mojica, 33 of Riverside Avenue in Buffalo, for speeding. According to officials he showed signs of intoxication and failed all field tests.

They located six tightly wrapped 38-gram bags of marijuana in the vehicle. Officers say Mojiica told them "they were Christmas gifts." 

He's charged with DWI, Driving over a .08, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and speeding. 

Mojica blew a .10 BAC and was held on $250 bail.
