A 24-year-old Buffalo man is facing a number of charges after police say he tried to bring a stun gun into an Erie County DMV.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office says Joshua Strauss was going to the DMV office in the Rath Building in downtown Buffalo, and hid the gun in personal items at the security area. When deputies found the gun and tried to arrest him, they say Strauss became disorderly. He was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal possession of a weapon.
He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center. No one was injured, and police say they think it was an isolated incident.
