Police arrested a man with a history of domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted a woman.
Officers were called around 11 a.m. Saturday to South Main Street in Jamestown, where a woman reported she had been pushed to the floor, kick and punched in the face several times by Moises Lopez-Encarcion, no age given.
He was taken into custody without incident.
At the Jamestown City Jail, authorities learned Lopez-Encarcion has a prior conviction of a family offense, leading to charged of felony aggravated family offense, as well as third degree assault and second degree unlawful imprisonment.
