BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — As many of us are beginning to plan what we're making for Thanksgiving, a new study looks at your favorite Thanksgiving dish.
According to a study of Google Trends from satteliteinternet.com, the most popular Thanksgiving dish in New York State is mashed sweet potatoes.
Four other states (Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Rhode Island) along with the District of Columbia also have mashed sweet potatoes as their top Thanksgiving recipe.
Which dish is the most popular in the most states? That would be mashed potatoes, which appeared as the top search in 14 states mostly on the west coast.
The majority of the favorites are mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, sweet potato casserole, Jell-O, and gravy.
